An alert is received by our trained operators when the emergency button is pressed or if the built-in accelerometer automatically detects a fall. (Automatic fall detection feature1 is optional with the LivingWell Companion Home).<\/p>\r\n
Trained operator contacts customer<\/h2>\r\n
When the alert is received, our trained operators will immediately contact the customer through the base station using the two-way voice speaker to confirm the emergency status prior to initiating the emergency protocol.<\/p>\r\n
Trained operator contacts family or friends (up to 3)<\/h2>\r\n
If the customer cannot be reached or an emergency is confirmed, the trained operator first contacts up to 3 family and\/or friends.<\/p>\r\n
Emergency services dispatched<\/h2>\r\n
If family or friends are unavailable or if the situation warrants, a trained operator will then dispatch emergency services to the customer’s home.<\/p>\r\n
